The past term

Hello! How are you? I hope that fine like me.
Well, in the post I will write about the past term and the term that I think it was the best until now in the whole time that I have been in the university.
The most important was in may, when whit my classmates went to Dichato for our practice, in this place we did a lot of things, we worked with children in different activities, all focused in reconstruction. It was a great experience, I learned so much, and it was very fun too, I shared with all my classmates and I made very good friends in those ten days.

In my 5th term I had 7 signatures but I took 10, so it was very difficult but I tried very hard and I approve them all. I studied so much and, like always, tried to study as much time that I could, without leaving my life out, I mean, my family and friends that help me in the stress moments.
I had one signature that I like more than the others: it was Body Language. It’s really great, very fun and relaxing, I really enjoy it.

I hope that this term could be even better, and to approve all my signatures.

See you next class!

Level 4

Hello! I hope that you are fine.
This is my first posting in fourth level and is about the topic that I like to write this semester, well, I think that the topics that we wrote the past semester are interesting and this is important because there are too many words and, sometimes when I dislike the topic, I don’t know what to write about. So, I think the topic related to our careers or our life in general, I mean the things that we have too much to say about are very appropriated to demonstrate our level of English.
Principally I would like to write about movies, important people, and every topic in wich I can write of the things that are important to me in my life.

Hello! This is the last posting and I am a little sad for that because I think that writing in English was very useful to learn more. Now I can write better because I have more vocabulary and I learnt how to use the verbs correctly, well, sometimes.
Normally I hate writing because my drafting is awful and I don't have much imagination or memory to write much words, but I feel comfortable writing this blog because I know that it helps me to practice my vocabulary.
About the blog as an evaluation tool, I think that it is great to see how we learn, more than by listening, because it's a creation and not a behaviorism, and is the best way to learn because is significant for the student.
In this point I think it's important to write about how I learn English because when I was a kid I saw a lot of movies in English and I think that it helped me to learn the pronunciation. I don’t know why but always I wanted to learn more about English, sometimes I look up for books and I do exercises about the things that seem more difficult and the things that I know, to practice. Well it help me to have a sister interpreter, she talks to me in English so I have to know how to talk to her.
In the future I want be a bilingual teacher because is very easy for the kids learn another language more than an adult. And in this world that the globalization is present in all topics of our life it is very important that we all know different languages.
As a conclusion to this blog I think that it was a great experience in my learning process.

The best place, Viña del Mar

First I should say that I like Santiago, the only problem is the weather, in summer too much hot and in winter rain and I hate rain.
The second place that I like the most is Viña del Mar, but only for vacations, not to live. I like that that is a place for young people, there are many places to have fun, to eat and to walk, this is the best thing, walking on the beach. Really, I always go, I mean, every time I can I go with my boyfriend for the weekend. Another advantage is that is near to Santiago, the bus takes only two hours so I can go only for one day too, especially when I have to do many pieces of homework.
Another important thing that makes me happy with this place is that there are some of my friends and when I stay there they make my stay very enjoyable :D
In winter I like going because the weather is very nice and staying on the beach all day relaxes me a lot.
In the picture we can see the beach, but generally it's full of people, even in winter. We can see some of the buildings too, in this city there are many buildings, mainly on the edge of the beach, some of the citizens don’t want those ones because it covers the beach.
The best place in Viña is Valparaiso street, I always go to eat at one of the many food places because it has much variety, I must admit that I don’t like a lot of food but here I always find a place to eat, principally french fries.
Well, I’m waiting winter vacation to go and see the beach again.

Well, my favorite piece of technology is the mp3 reproduction, its contents my favorite music. I buy it in my birthday number twenty one and I buy the same for mi boyfriend, are not the same really, mine is blue and his is black :) I think that this object change my life because I live too far to the university (and also the other places) so before bored me too much, now, I listen my favorite music every day in the microbus, subway and everywhere I go. Suddenly I forgot load and I spend all my day looking for a computer because I hate when I travel to my home without music, it’s so boring.
Like you can see in the photo it is not only functional, is very cute too! And like I am really careful with my things, has lasted me and will last me even more, that is cool.
This small device was very important to the earthquake day because have radio too, so all my family used for hearing the news, was very useful, and the battery during several days (when I hadn’t electricity), well, my notebook and battery help too.
I think that whit these words is clear the love that I feel for my mp3 reproductive :)

My favorite group, Shaila

My favorite music group is an argentinian group called Shaila, they started song in 1994. The members are five friends, all of them are thirty-two years old. They define their music as hardcore-punk and their lyrics are known because have a rich vocabulary. I love their music because the lyrics say thing very politics, they have some songs about love a other things too but principal about the problems in latin america. The song that more like me is called “El fracaso regional” is based in the book “Las venas abiertas de América Latina” wroted by Eduardo Galeano. Other song was called “Incendio global”, was about the pollution that exist in the world today and is more like a warning of the damage we do to the future inhabitants of our planet. They have eleven disc, and all of them have been recorded and self-managed by themselves, it gives them so much merit. Like a real fan, I go of all their concerts, usually once a year, I go with my boyfriend and my cousin. This year we really loved the concert, was very good, it was in april and we have to take a non-perishable food for earthquake survivors, was a big help because we are almost three hundred people. I' m waiting that they come to Santiago the next year :)

The person that I admire, Paulo Freire

Hello! The topic is "a person that I admire". I study Elementary Education and the person that I chose is Paulo Freire, a Brazilian educator representative of the critic pedagogy. He was born in 1921 and died in 1997. The book that I love (I really love) is “Cartas a quien pretende enseñar” (“Letters to whom pretends to teach”), wich has twelve letters with some “rules” for teachers to follow in order to be good educators. One example of them is that kids shouldn't call us “aunt”, because we don’t have a familiar relationship with them, we are the teachers. To say “aunt” it's like saying that I am a caring person who doesn't rebel against the system, and this it's very bad because the teachers are the persons who have to change all that is wrong in the current educational system.
Another one of his books is “La pedagogía del oprimido” (“The pedagogy of the oppressed”) and it's about the education that tries to make employees. It states that nowadays the important is not to educate for making intelligent people, but trying to create employees that work for a little money; cheap labor that doesn't complain because they don't have too many other job options.
